Content Moderation Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Pre-moderation

Every confession is reviewed by a moderator before it is published. It can be accepted, refused or lightly edited (e.g. removing personal data).

Reports

Any published content can be reported with the “Report” button or by email (see report content). Reports are handled as quickly as possible, illegal content and personal data first.

Decisions and statement of reasons

When content is refused or removed, or an account is suspended, the author is told about the decision and its reason (rule broken, possibly with a note from the moderator), in line with article 17 of the Digital Services Act. This is visible at any time in My account › My posts, with the date of the decision.

Appeal a decision

You can appeal within 6 months by writing to contact@gitpushf.uk with the subject “Appeal”. The request is reviewed by a different person where possible, and you receive a reasoned answer.

Graduated sanctions

  • Content refused or removed;
  • temporary suspension of community features;
  • account deletion for serious or repeated breaches.
