Data controller
Amaury MAIZY (ExostFlash), publisher of gitpushf.uk. Contact for any GDPR request: contact@gitpushf.uk.
Data we collect
- From Discord (
identifyandemailscopes): Discord ID, username, avatar URL, email address. We cannot see your servers or messages, and we never post on your behalf. - Sessions: date, IP address and browser (user agent) of each session.
- Preferences: chosen language.
- Legal: accepted Terms version and acceptance date.
- Community: confessions you submit (published anonymously), reports you file and documentation requests.
Tools (generators, .gitignore, excuses…) run in your browser: nothing you type there is sent to the server.
Purposes and legal bases
- Creating and managing your account, displaying your profile: performance of contract (Terms) — GDPR art. 6.1.b.
- Moderating content, preventing abuse, securing the service: legitimate interest — art. 6.1.f.
- Keeping proof of Terms acceptance and answering authorities: legal obligation and legitimate interest — art. 6.1.c and 6.1.f.
Retention
- Account and profile: until you delete your account, or after 3 years of inactivity.
- Sessions: expire automatically after 7 days without activity.
- Confessions: while published. When you delete your account they stay anonymous and are no longer linked to you.
- Identification data linked to published content: 1 year (French decree no. 2021-1362).
- Reports and moderation decisions: 1 year.
- Documentation requests: until handled, then 1 year; they are detached from your account when you delete it.
Linked GitHub account (optional)
From “My account” you can link your GitHub account to analyse your private repositories with the tools. It is optional and never used to sign in. We then keep your GitHub id and an encrypted, read-only access token, limited to the repositories you choose on GitHub. The token is only used when you run an analysis; repository content passes through our server for that analysis and is neither stored nor logged. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you withdraw at any time by unlinking: the token is then revoked on GitHub and deleted here.
Recipients and transfers
Data is stored on the publisher's server and is never sold or shared for commercial purposes. Discord Inc. (USA) acts as identity provider, and GitHub Inc. (USA) if you link your GitHub account, each under its own privacy policy; transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object and port your data. From “My account” you can download your data (JSON) and delete your account. For anything else: contact@gitpushf.uk. We answer within one month.
You can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr, or your local authority.
