Recovery steps

   Find the commit that deleted it

   The most recent line is the deletion.

   Safe

   $ git log --oneline --diff-filter=D -- path/to/file

2. 2

   Restore it from the commit before

   The ^ means “the parent of that commit”, where the file still existed.

   Safe

   $ git restore --source=<hash>^ -- path/to/file
   $ git add path/to/file
   $ git commit -m "fix: restore path/to/file"
